Plus, the same release is on Mesa’s website under the Investor Relations section. That means it has to be accurate by law, since Mesa is a publicly traded company. It is not hearsay, it’s not a “media story”, it’s not what someone’s friend says. The aircraft will be owned by Mesa, there’s no question about that.

That doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily a different order. United could have just as well transferred their order to Mesa. I am assuming that if that’s the case, United will also have to come out with some sort of press release to their investors.
