All pilots selected for Flexjet employment start as a First Officer in either the Learjet 40, 45, 60 or the Challenger 300 or 604. The company reserves the right to select the appropriate fleet based on business needs. Upgrade is based upon the company business needs and the First Officer's performance/seniority. All upgrades, including Challenger FOs, are into Captain positions in the Learjet fleets. All Learjet Captains, based on business needs/performance/seniority, have the opportunity to be considered for Challenger Captain positions as they become available.

Minimum requirements:

2500TT, 500MEL, 500 Turbine, ATP and First Class Medical

Our gateways include:

q Dallas/Fort Worth–Includes Addison/Crew, Dallas Love Field, Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) HUB, and other local airports
q New York/New Jersey–Includes Caldwell Essex County (CDW), John F. Kennedy-New York (JFK), La Guardia (LGA), Morristown Municipal (MMU), Newark (EWR) HUB, and Teterboro (TEB) MX/Crew airports
q South Florida–Includes Boca Raton (BCT), Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE), Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood (FLL) HUB, Homestead Air Reserve (HST), Kendall-Tamiami Executive (TMB), Miami International (MIA), Opa Locka (OPF), Palm Beach International (PBI) MX/Crew, and Pompano Beach (PMP)
q South California–Includes Brackett Field (POC), Chino (CNO), El Monte (EMT), Liverpool (L12), Ontario International (ONT) HUB, Rialto Municipal (L67), and San Bernardino (SBD) (Airports with additional travel time include: Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena (BUR), Burmuda Dunes (UDD), John Wayne Airport-Santa Anna (SNA), Long Beach-Daughterty Field (LGB), Los Angeles International (LAX), Monroe-Walton County (WHP), Palm Springs International (PSP), Santa Monica (SMO), Van Nuys (VNY), and Zamperini Field-Torrance (TOA)
Gateway rules state that, regardless of where the crewmember lives, it is expected that on the first day of the rotation the crewmember will be in a location which will enable the crewmember to report to their Gateway HUB airport within 1.5 hours of contact. You may be eligible for our relocation allowance of $4000 if you relocate to one of our Gateways. (Relocation must occur within your first 90 days of employment.)

Overview of benefits available to pilot employees:

q Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Card Program: The medical program allows employees to select their own physician within the network.
q Group Term Life Insurance: Available without charge, for a policy with coverage equivalent to 2X annual base salary for Basic Life Insurance up to a maximum of $500,000. Additional coverage is also available.
q Pension Plan: Provides participants an income upon retirement, in addition to Social Security benefits. Contributions to the plan are 100% Company paid and employees qualify for the pension after 5 years of continuous service. Benefits are based on a salary level and years of service.
q Bombardier Stock Purchase: Employees are eligible to enroll the first day of employment and can invest up to 20% of your payroll with a Company match of 20%. The plan is open for several months each year.
q 401(k) Program: Open enrollment every calendar quarter. Company matches 50 cents on the dollar up to the first 6%. Employees can put in a maximum the IRS will allow each year.
q 28-Day Set Schedules: Based on a Seniority Bidding System.
q Compensation includes: For a first-year First Officer, the daily rate is $160 for 12 hours of duty time, which is approximately $35,000 annually. This is based on 17 duty days per 28-day bid period. There is also OT pay for any hours worked over 12 in a duty day, per diem, $300 daily pay for working any scheduled days off, and eligibility for a bonus program based on Company set goals. Yearly compensation increases based on company seniority. 2nd year is $175 and 3rd year is $185 Daily Rate.
q Paid Training and Uniform Allowance: Employees are on the payroll starting with the first day of training and, following initial uniform issue, receive an annual uniform allowance. The Training and Uniform Reimbursement Agreement obligates the pilot to reimburse the company for training and uniform costs, if the pilot voluntarily leaves the company in the first 24 months of employment.
q Vacation: 10 days paid vacation (2 periods of 5 days), 15 days (3 periods of 5 days) after 3 years of employment. Each period begins and ends with four regularly scheduled days off, making each 5-day vacation period 13 consecutive days off.
q Tuition Reimbursement Program: Reimburses tuition upon successful completion of preapproved educational classes. Classes must be completed at an accredited educational institution and related to the employee's current job.

The pay is a little more now and I don't think they are hiring into the LA bases.
