That makes no sense. I said the 7/7 plus 28 days vacation sounds pretty good. I just don't chase every possible dollar by working as much as I can. I work a reduced schedule myself (not at NJA) and quite happily accept the associated reduction in pay.
Having said that, if somebody wants to work as much as possible to maximize income that's of course cool as well.
But as others have said, it is possible to work relatively little and make a lot of money in aviation in the US these days. In NJA you can make pretty good money but you work quite hard for it, in aviation terms.
At the best airline employers you can make more money for less work. You guys have it good in the US right now as you are spoilt for choice
