Are they really screwing newhires out of per diem when they're sent outside of their training base for sims or IOE? Well, of all the cheap, lousy ways to save a buck!
Way to make these new pilots feel welcome, and build a long term relationship with them. This is the sort of thing that makes newhires update their resume. Do we really want to become a training facility for other airlines, handing out free A320 type ratings? Short sighted move.
