The bailout deal was a big piece to the puzzle that the union and company needed to come up with a plan. Hopefully now they know how much government cheese we’re getting they can have better numbers to work with and come up with an early out that would benefit the pilots on the way out, help the company, and reduce the number of furloughs. United has put up some big furlough numbers in the past for events that weren’t this severe, I hope this doesn’t go as deep as some fear.
