My question is what happens to the vacation red bar of death and the vacation footprint in Bid Period Processing Summary page:
1) If I slide vacation to touch a trip, does the red vacation footprint now match the trip footprint? Or is the vacation footprint ijust slid over the number of days?
2) What happens to the "V"s on the BPPS page? Do they move to cover the trip footprint? Or they remain, just slid over the appropriate amount?

The red vaca bar moves to the start day based on your slide. 7 day vaca, starting Monday - slide 4 right (+). Now the bar starts on Friday and goes 7 days forward into the month from there. I'm pretty sure the "V"s on the BPPS do the same thing. Whatever trip(s) your vaca knocks out just go away, there's no correlation with the red vaca line on your calendar matching the trips removed.
