I’m going to put a plug in for Dr Rhonda Patrick PhD. She’s a clinical researcher and runs a website and YouTube channel called Found My Fitness. She drops tons of knowledge for free on all sorts of subjects that are relevant here. Intermittent fasting, time restricted eating, gut health, antioxidants, cancer prevention, sauna use and heat shock proteins, and recently she has posted some very good articles on Covid involving Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Melatonin, and sauna use.

She’s on Joe Rogan a lot and there are multiple video clips with her on Joe Rogan on YouTube discussing many of the above subjects. I will warn you in advance, Dr Rhonda is somewhat of a rabbit hole. One thing leads to another and the next thing you know, three hours have passed but you are a whole lot smarter when it comes to nutrition and your health.

I am low carb but not keto and mostly paleo and I try to do time restricted eating...no calories after 6 pm and go at least 12 hours before eating again and usually go 14. I lost 25 lbs in about 6 months and am where I was in high school for weight at 6’2” and 170lbs. I try to do a three day water, green tea, black coffee only fast about once per quarter. That is to promote autophagy which cleans out the zombie senescent cells, and does some other things to strengthen the immune system. Four years ago, I was 230 in the winter and 210 in the summer and riding 3,000-4,000 miles per year on the road bicycle. A ketogenic diet got me down to 195-200 range, but time restricted eating took off more weight on same calories and less riding....@1,000-1,500 per year.
