Don’t be thinking we are so underpaid, we got a contract and are already working on the next. I have a hunch this one will aim higher than anything yet. This is a new airline now with a new diverse crew force.
If it was so bad AbX’r wouldn’t be coming over here for jobs. Like our CP and some instructors.
Actually the reason the former ABX instructors are now at ATI is because they are over 65. ABX contract requires our instructors to be on our seniority list....they are not able to be now because of age. That said....you finally got some much needed improvement in your training. As far as getting a contract yours SUCKS! And since as you said you were not working there at the time, and really do not have any idea what you are talking about...like ATI Captains agreeing to a 3% pay raise for Captains only, to delay the contract talks. This was in exchange for additional promised flying while screwing the FO's. Hete hoped some of that incresed flying would be in ABX aircraft. He did not get his way so he sat by and watched ABX management violate our contract during Sec6 negotiations. We stopped that. Either way we would be at about the same # of aircraft. ATI contract does not allow you to protect your contract...you agreed to that. Good luck...you have alot to fix!
