However the junior AEX base is close to where I live, so it’s appealing in that regard. Obviously COVID turned everything upside and I’m assuming they aren’t hiring. What were upgrade times and average hours flown per month pre-covid? How many nights away can you expect a month particularly if you live in the AEX base?
Rumor has it we have to hire 90 by November. Upgrade time is a crapshoot right now. If we start hiring consistently you can probably expect 12-18 months. Flying in AEX varies, but you can expect 70-80 hrs per month with less than a handful of overnights as almost all the flying there is government and day trips
