Oh man...the industry is losing one of the greats. Tough news but not entirely unexpected. SkyWest really did a topnotch job gutting and crushing two of their ALPA competitors. Really one for future business school studies. Hoping for soft landings for all those at XJT. I was there on the CoEx/UAX side for almost 10 memorable years, from the heady days of growing to 274 airplanes, the Great Aquafresh Experiment and into the dark days of furloughs during the Great Recession and the acquisition and merger orchestrated by SkyWest. Through it all, always a strong operation and a great group of pilots where everyone had each other's backs. Gonna remember my time there fondly.
