Did you not have a FAR/AIM handy or something? For being able to quote the exact location of the regulation, if you'd just turned your book to that page it would spell it out better than either of us could.
Basically, you have to have done one renewal. If you haven't had to renew yet, then you can't train another CFI.
Of course, you meet the 200 dual given part.
