not sure when that contract comes due for renegotiation, but her statement that she would rather constrain network growth and raise rates than grow volume may have been a shot at Amazon. If you think Amazon is simply going to push for ever greater volume at low rates and than leave us high and dry when their internal network catches up, than her statement may be aimed at Amazon. Now is definitely the time to cultivate new customers and diversify our customer base. Like FedEx, we will definitely go through withdrawal when we kick the Amazon habit.
