I feel it especially for the guys with 121 PRIA skeletons. They’ll hire CFI’s with no skeletons before those poor souls with turbine time. Multiple PRIA event failures? It will be YEARS before a call. Better go find a new career.
If ALPA wants to do any good with this specific pilot group, they call each of those specific men and women to instill a reality check. I’d hate to see some previous 121 pilot potentially a month a way from riding the left seat instructing students for years before receiving another call. Just really sad man.
The larger argument is to not get involved.I’ve been watching countless YouTube videos of pilots saying it’s all cyclical. Most of those saying this haven’t gone even one month without income.
