If someone is vaccinated then the people sitting next to them are not a threat. If the strain is vaccine resistant then what’s the point? Vaccines and the passports that go with them will make no difference. There is so much unsupported rationale that has no more purpose than to force compliance for compliance sake.
Unless it is all just theater - you know, stuff that makes people feel better (like taking off your shoes and belts in a security line) rather than contribute to reducing risk in any real significant way.
