I wish US treated pilots and flight attendants from other countries EXACTLY the same way their countries treat us.

For example all Australian pilots should be escorted to their hotel rooms by an armed police officer (no joke, that’s how we get to our hotel rooms in Sydney) and if you use CPAP they should lock you up in a “health facility” where a nurse calls you every 4 hours or so to see if you’re doing ok (as reported by several of our pilots). Apparently they have NO concept of crew rest and treat you like a long-term patient. You worry about your airport pickup time? Well, you’ll needs your doctor’s note for that... Australia is an absolute embarrassment for our profession right now.

Pilots from ALL Chinese airlines should be locked up in their rooms with no air conditioning and very limited and border-line edible food choices while pilots from HKG based airlines should be sent to a double-wide trailers where they’re locked up for 14 days if there’s even an inkling of them having been exposed to the very virus China absolutely destroyed the world with.

I’m sure there are other, similar examples around the world.

If their crews were treated the way they treat us this nonsense would stop tomorrow.
