Well put and part of the reason I’m surprised Compass didn’t survive. Their cost structure compared to Endeavor was significantly lower to operate 76 seat RJs. Just looking at pay rates alone between the two really made me scratch my head as to why they shutdown CPZ. Obviously there’d be no scope issue right now either...
Several years back, Delta asked Compass to take on additional aircraft, but Compass instead went with American. From that day on, Delta was no longer interested in Compass.
