Smaller regional/larger mainline presence means more jobs more to the other side of the ledger which I don’t think anyone would have a problem with.
Except the regional lifers who can’t or don’t want to leave . Now many of them may be forced to do something different, update their resumes and log books , brush up on interview skills .Something many of them probably haven’t done in a decade or two.
