Here's what I hear are the worst things about working at XOJET:
  • Rotations can get long.
  • Rotations are demanding.
  • It's 135, on-demand charter.
  • Rolling rest.
  • You will spend a lot of time on an airliner going to and from work. Tickets are generally purchased from 24-12 hours in advance; so you're destined to be sitting in a middle seat between two stinky fatso's.
  • Because it is a growing company they are still figuring out the best ways to do some things. This means there is constant change; while it is usually for the better some people don't always take it that well. You've got to keep an open mind and remain objective while maintaining a clear view of the "big picture".
  • Pay scales are competitive, but not the highest of comparable business models. However, upgrades are quick and the company is only two years old. Given the company's success there is a lot of potential.
I am sure there are more, but that's what the XOJET pilots tell me.
