Your plan is fine for now. The twatter will work for a time builder unless you are not getting 100 hours or so per month. You should fly your a$$ off until you get the 1000 PIC then look for a small carrier with bigger/faster equipment. (Keep applying to the majors however, you never know)
Keep in mind that todays plan will probably not resemble your path when you look back on your career. Remain flexible and keep plugging away.
