As long as it doesn't interfere with your line schedule it's fine, but pilots that do something like that usually work as part-time employees. There's a couple pilots that are part-timers because they also have other flying gigs like instructing, seasonal fire work, or flying for a small corporate operation. The biggest difference between full-time line pilots and part-time is you're only paid a day rate for the days you actually fly, you don't get the weekly 5 day pay guarantee.
