While otter PIC technically counts at some majors, I suspect that non-complex, VFR, short distance flying is likely to not be very competetive...whowever if you can knock out 1000 PIC quickly, do it, THEN go to a regional and fly RJ's...after 8 months of that you'll have glass, turbojet, 121 experience to go with your turbine PIC. You might get lucky and get hired by a major shortly after joining the regionals.

Oh, and it's 1300 PIC for SWA now.
