DeSantis announced he'd ensure that any contractor who does these flights, doesn't get a contract with the State of Florida.
It was an idiotic, hollow, political statement. None of the operators doing these flights have a contract with the state of Florida, nor have they sought one.
The outrage over the DHS flights is fueled by ignorance and by the ignorant; those who don't know the purpose of the flights and make assumptions based on conspiracy theory and guesswork.
