Why would they be spinning up a charter operation when they are way behind on their route plan and just announced canceling existing routes. Does not make sense at all unless the scheduled routes are burning cash.
Some of the current markets are seasonal. In the fall they’re going to dedicate just the E190s on charters because they’ve been making a lot of money on them. Eventually it’s going to be all A220s for airline flying and the E190/195 will be all charter.
