The lack of pilots encouragement and involvement wasn’t “the” cause but when the difference was 160-170 swing votes and you had pilots telling FAs they don’t need a union and pilots in uniform showing up at anti-union rallies it sure makes you wonder.

During flight attendant union drives at other airlines the pilot group is almost always very supportive of the organizing drive and so is their union. Delta is the only airline I’ve seen where that isn’t the case. It explains why even most of the other pilot unions view DALPA as an “association” rather than an actual “union”. Maybe that also explains why there’s so much friction between FAs and pilots here at Delta. If you stopped thinking that you’re better than someone else simply because your paycheck is bigger than maybe that friction might actually go away.

Oh, should I also starch your shirt?
Have you tried the ignore post option on here. You realize you keep arguing with the same 5 posters. You aren’t changing each other’s minds. I appreciate your perspective and glad to have a counterpoint in discussions but how many times are you going to get sucked into the same debate.

Good luck with your union drive.
