Hey man I appreciate it, but I just wish I was going through the Air Force 20 years ago. Unfortunately I don't think the Air Force has that mindset anymore. Today's Active Duty Air Force is more concerned with OPR Bullets, wearing reflective belts, Computer Based Training, and making sure no one's sleeves are rolled up.
I still wouldn't trade it for the world though. Yeah sure guard or reserves look pretty cool, but I just feel so lucky to even be given the chance to fly any Air Force jet.
So for those reading the comments about how bad active duty is realize it's not that bad, but still probably not as great as the Guard/Reserves. Also keep in mind this is coming from someone who is very new to the active duty Air Force who will probably be singing a different tune in a couple of years, but until then I'm going to try and have as much fun as I can without ****ing too many of the clerks off.
On a side note have you all seen this picture? Notice anything odd about the picture?
