It’s suspicious that someone would block their schedule while utilizing FMLA during a holiday, then pick up a trip during the same block at a premium. It’s suspicious because they’re blocking their schedule so they essentially can’t be tracked. Even if you utilized FMLA, then picked up a greeny I wouldn’t question said individual. The trip may work around their family’s needs, BUT using FMLA while blocking their schedule is suspicious.
Nobody should be allowed to block their schedule. That needs to be changed. If you are utilizing FMLA honestly then you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
I think the issue is that this thread is fomenting suspicion and Ill will against a fellow pilot (who can easily be doxxed at this point by anyone with icrew access) who pipefitter and I know, who isn’t doing anything untoward and has specific and entirely aboveboard reasons for all of her scheduling moves.
