20K is probably a bit low. My guess would be in the range of 25-35K starting. The issue at hand is often insurance minimums that require higher times/experience (even for FOs). That equates to higher starting salaries. Plus most corporate operators pay higher because they don't want to deal with high turnover that comes with poor payscales.

The Professional Pilot pay scales issue is next month I think... I'll be happy to post any salary info once it arrives in the mail.
