The answer is yes. I once flew 1000 hrs per year domestically. When you can land your wide body in a foreign land, on your second leg in the middle of the night, get doused by god only knows what, force your way out of the bus after two hours to take a ****, then lock yourself in a room for 1-7 days, come talk to me.
Good luck with that argument. I did it, throughout Covid, yes it sucked enormously, but it is the job. Just like many were fearing for their livelihoods at the time, you were making bank. And now roles are slightly reversed.
