First of all, we currently have a minimum pay per
duty period, not per
calendar day. This is key.
If you get a 3 day trip that has a long layover and only operates on day 1 and day 3, it'll only pay 10 hours and not 15 hours.
This was one of the big things we couldn't get in the last contract
