Republic is hanging by a thread and Skywest just backed out of flying they were supposed to do in NY for Delta this summer to cover fir Endeavor which is short staffed Captains because Skywest can’t staff . There is no more shell game or whipsaw left, thus the reason for retention pay and 60 percent pay raises. They are scraping the bottom of the Barrel of monkey tricks with the forced upgrades probably before finally having to say Uncle with some type of advanced seniority or eventual absorption.
I'm kind of surprised DAL and AA haven't added contingency clauses to their flow agreements stating pilots need to have X-amount of PIC at their respective regional partner before they're eligible to flow.
Anybody know if attrition has slowed or stopped at EDV since the pay raises went through?
