Wjy do we expect THIS company (mgt) to enforce anything associated with professionalism, pride, etc. The fact is that WE the labor force should enforce it - or at least pull a guy/gal aside and tactfully request that they do better. It’s not a scolding, it’s mentorship and age has nothing to do with it.
The reason why we have people looking like clowns is because we don’t say anything. The reason why we have this pay scale and contract is because WE (not the union leadership) voted it in.
this 100%. I have heard some people Cussing loudly for pax to hear while walking through the terminal in uniform. It looks slobby. Uniforms aren't worn properly, etc. We are supposed to be professional. We want professional pay, you gotta act like it. You wanna still be the "its just a ULCC" mentality, we will get a poor contract this go around as well.
