Ever tried to file a grievance? I'm not sure ALPA Contract Enforcement even reads your email before deleting it.
Then you’ll be plenty busy unstacking them. JD left a parting gift of 111 grievances at 5Y, over half planned to go the Arbitrator. Over contract scheduling, travel and monetary provisions his management won’t implement two years after signing and/or deny everyday. To him a CBA isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, to be ignored per his directives to all your departments if it costs money or convenience to the company. Mr Dietrich will walk right up to the line of a major dispute and sit back while the metal keeps moving, FDX saves millions and the pilot group spends years in the grievance system fighting for every line and even individual words in your next CBA. That’s his modus operandi.
