I think it was a collective effort between CN, PM, and MANY of the former MEC. And....the one and only priority was A-plan bump. No other section in TA1 had any notable improvements, and many were clearly worse.
Thankfully we don't have to assign blame to any specific person....they are all gone (finally).
Has the goal of increasing the A plan gone away? Seems as though it’s still a priority of those now in charge.
Instead of A plan increase or bust, it’s A plan increase plus everything else.
We’re going to end up paying for the pension increase with lack of gains elsewhere. Or miss out on a contract cycle because of it. Or both.
