I would honestly be surprised if management didn’t come out and say that retention bonus will be paid no matter what happens with the union drama.
Management needs that retention bonus more than any single pilot does. That bonus cut attrition by at least 50% probably closer to 75%. We were more than a pilot a day leaving and within a couple months the number was single digits per month.
Make no mistake management needs the carrot of that retention bonus more than the union or even the line pilots.
I am shocked that so many pilots are believing the teamster propaganda right now. The same GU who negotiated this contract that we all agree sucks is the guy pulling all the strings and playing puppet master with this NC.
IF ALPA is the best option RIGHT NOW, then why are none of those behind it willing to put their actual name and reputation on it. Hiding behind a website and or a fake name on sites like this means nothing. This drive is already dead. If it's founders feel its not worth to publicly supporting it.
