The public cares very much when things like the swa pilot pulls out his unit during a flight. And they would care if, during a future incident where the new 25 hour CVR tapes are pulled and people get to see what some people say behind closed doors. Been flying for over 30 years and never experienced racism in the COCKPIT. The only thing close was an interview question addressing it. OMG I typed out a taboo word....
People don't GAS about woke crap that very few of us on here care about. The general public cares about safety and being on time. If you want to talk about racism in careers I think you will find that in our profession compared to most others is virtually non existent.
