I could see how the current issues we face as a crew force, amplified by emotions of the holidays, and then add on additional life stressors and ANYONE could easily find themselves in a dark place.
If we were a squadron or airwing, we would absolutely have a safety stand down. Take care of eachother out there! If you seek help, that takes some serious strength and courage. It is not a sign of weakness!
Management is too busy manipulating the SAM, driving us into 4a2c and formulating a furlough plan for a safety stand down.. The most important thing right now is to cut costs and punish the pilot group for not liking the TA.
