In all seriousness, NYC/Suburb County/Town crews have been out all night salting and plowing streets. Snow should be slowing after about 2 PM. Provided you can dig your car out, most of the main roads should be relatively fine by later this afternoon or this evening. I assume the Port Authority and Delta operations have been working throughout the night and morning to clear the airport surfaces as well. Sure would be nice to have an update from Delta, but this is my anecdotal observation from home in my comfy pants.
Thanks for the report! I loved your first sentence, nicely done. Hopefully you all get dug out of that mess soon.
