Alaska, as an airline, was anti-jumpseat it seemed. I remember the drama when VX merged. At VX, it was never even a question. We took two in the jump and would never refuse that. It was so bad on the Alaska side that other airlines were targeting and refusing AS pilots in the JS, and JS committees had to get involved. I have met a few CAs who refuse to let anyone in the JS. Alaska is the ONLY airline where I have heard anything about refusing JS.
