If we’re being honest base closures do happen in this business. LGB, according to Barger, never made money but maintained a presence. Orlando, doesn’t make money and I dont know why it remains. EWR same. At a carrier who has solid control and understanding of scheduling satellite bases make plenty of sense. JetBlue, not so much.
