We are having an RJ captain from Mesa in our next indoc class to go fly a PA31 in Texas. He will be closer to his family, where at Mesa from what I understand he was no where close to them. It is hard to beat being home every night with weekends off.
Uh, Texas PA31, sure that isn't outstation based? Which, of course appeals to many also, just flip the schedule so you're home all day and gone 5 nights.
Normally, I'd say a chieftain outstation is a bad move, but given the situation, you're going to be in a chieftain for a while anyway now days. If you like the outstation schedule, go for it.
