Just had this happen a couple of weeks ago. I trip traded into a back end dead head trip. Less than 12 hours after I got the trip, they changed the dead head because the scheduled one was not operating. The new dead head left later, thus making the trip pay more (trip rig). However, since the F/O already deviated, his trip remained the same and they revised mine to a new pairing number. I then went 8-24 on the trip prior to this one and didn't have to fly it. However, I noticed my SUB guarantee was only 8:06 CH rather than the revised 9:21 CH. Had to send an email to crew pay to get that fixed, which they did.

For once things worked out to my favor. Got paid more for a trip I didn't have to fly and got home sooner!
