But now that you mention it, personally, I
did think that comment about the shark thing was gross! Did that really need to be mentioned here? I may not be a serious 'surfer', but does one guy surfer say that to another guy surfer??? I don't go around telling controllers to let me off ground-hold ahead of everyone else because I'm PMS-ing...if you're gonna play in a man's field, play it fairly, with
class, and use your skill and ability to get the job done. Women don't earn respect from comments like that, they degrade themselves. IMHO, women play that old 'time of the month' mystery game with men very unfairly, those were games played in
high school- like when you wanted to get out of class, telling the
male teacher it was 'that time of month' so he'd be so embarrassed he wouldn't care if you left and ditched the whole classtime!
Oh, and if I prefer to say 'Ewwweeyy' instead of using profanity (yep, makes me a nerd, but

), then get off my back! Somehow, I've earned
several college degrees by working my hiney (ooohhh, another one of those nerdy words
) off- all this
with my current vocabulary- many professors may have chuckled and rolled their eyes at my choice of words- but never turned me over to Mr. Webster!
This used to be a fun place to come and make friends, but some people around here have lost their sense of fun and light-heartedness. I liked to come here and help friends smile and feel good...I love to learn more about the great people who are out there like me...they love airplanes and like to come here and goof around and be silly and corny when that is what their soul needs, and to be a supportive friend when they need it. I leave the 'serious' posting to the others on this board who post to
those types of threads...remember the title of this thread?? Serious??? I don't think so.
