This is unbelievable. All the low paid regionals are getting all this new flying and we at ASA are downgrading captains to FO. When the hella is ASA going to get some reward for going from crap to an ontime respectable airline. Does 80% of ATL DCI flying not mean a thing after a merger??
Losin my motivation to fly ontime pretty fast here.
ASA is expensive. We've priced ourselves out of the growth game. We'll stay exactly as we are due to contractual obligations but as far as significant growth, doubt it. Too many senior pilots, and we're the only DCI carrier that doesn't have PBS.
In this day and age money talks, as long as you have halfway decent performance. Mesa had such horrendous performance it wasn't worth the cheap price to Big D. Mesaba and Pinnacle bring excellent performance at a low cost. That's something ASA will have a very hard time beating.
