I can't believe UAL is giving up JFK-LHR, even if it doesn't originate/terminate from a UAL hub. That route is incredibly profitable and very well patronized. And, DAL can't even go into LHR, but Gatwick.
I agree the Pac Rim stuff is great; that'll help their bottom line.
