I have to say this one hit me a little hard too. I worked with Carl at AMW as well and I remember when I was a new hire getting ready for the sim in ICT and he was a great help to me and some of my class mates. In fact I found him to be such a great guy that I wrote a letter of recomendation for him here at CMP and also talked to him several hours on the phone letting him know anything I could to make sure this great guy got the job here. He was hired and was in a class right after me. I haven't seen him as much since we are in different domiciles, but I will miss running into him in the crew room up north.
Carl and his family have been in my thoughts since I heard about this unfortunate incident. Everytime I think about it I get that lump back in my throat. I have never flown with a nicer guy.
