Not to say the company would ever do anything untoward, but, every time I talk with scheduling about an issue----they say they don't really know the contact.

Which, IMO, is BS. The contract is the water they swim in daily. They frequently deal with the oddball issues. Look at being sick in the field, you don't have to fly back to Memphis.....and yet CRS may try and put you on a FDX J/S.

Look at trip issues. CRS will almost always tell you it's just a reroute, even if you haven't left yet and it should be substitution.

One Capt I flew with suggested always saying what CRS wants to do sounds like substitution, and, if need be tell them you're going to look it up in the contract and give them a call back.


I'm not saying that CRS is EVIL

(not all of them anyways)
but they will try and slide one by ya from time to time
