Got lucky and got my first cfi job in September trying to make myself sound better then the furloaded airline guys going back to instructing.

So my question is and ive used the search option for awhile with mixed results. Some people say the ii check ride is the easiest one ever and others say it was just like their initial check ride. So what was your check ride like? Where I work it would be with a dpe who is at my flight school and knows me already since i work for him, he owns the place. Most people there say it wasnt too hard, questions on the instraments and teach a lesson on an approach then some regulation stuff. with a few tricky ones that dont come up that often.

Any advice or tips on what to expect and how to pre pare for this.

Still in the beginning of it. Not really teaching the lessons yet with the guy im working on it with. Just talking about the instruments and how they work. Find this part pretty tuff to make it flow smoothly with so much technical things involved.
