Get the non-aviation degree....Criminal Justice and get your licenses & ratings at a local FBO if possible. If not, minor in Flight Technology, but your major should be in something other than aviation.
Here's a hint: Take a good look at all the professions that are hiring today during the economic hardships that we're facing as a nation. This should give you a clue as to what to major in. Kinda-va no-brainer if you ask me. Not being nasty.......just keeping it real.
