I live out of the US and I have mine faxed to the online contact lens store and they get it instantly and they keep it on file so you dont need to keep faxing them a copy every time. The prescription is usually valid for up to a year so once they got the copy of the prescription, its easy from then on. Nothing further to be done. You can order as many times without hassle. In fact, a month or so before the prescription expires, the store will email you and notify you that your prescription will soon be up so you can make an order then..
