There are lots of Philippine Nationals that can fill those slots. If you want to work over there you have a better chance of working in China or Hong Kong and commuting to the Philippines.
Well it happened pretty easy for me. Got an invite to the interview via email, showed up in the Phils the night before, and got the job. Now the license conversion process... that's a whole different story, or nightmare I should say. Over the next couple years CP is planning on getting a lot of new airplanes, so I would give it another shot when that happens.
